Wow, you are pretty harsh! Have you priced out new RV furniture or priced out the cost of re-upholstering the furniture in our Montana’s? Try $2-$4k or more. After 3 years of use, why should “quality furniture” deteriorate? It will happen if Keystone is using faux leather furniture covering from Asia. The urethane in the fabric starts to break down and release the leather fibers embedded in it. Since this all happens in the 3rd to 4th year of ownership, the deterioration is no longer covered under the Keystone warranty and they could care less.
We have owned two 5th wheels since 2013 and both units had the faux leather start to fall apart in the 3rd and 4th year of ownership. This is an RV industry issue. There is no guarantee that if you replace your current RV furniture with new ones, they won’t break down in time as well.
