We do camp for extended periods some times. We just spent a month on Drummand Island in a primitive campground. I am weighing the possibilities of the add on vs outside tent -- maybe both.

Dave, on the outside tent idea. In addition to the awning on our TT and the one on our van (12'x10') we also keep a 12'x12' Easy-UP in the bulkhead of the TT and takes up very little space. This has screen sides that can be taken off and goes up in about 5 minutes. Just a thought.
