Many years ago I replaced the bedroom CRT with a flat screen. I mounted the flat screen on the wall between the closet and the window. Then filled the hole in the cabinet door with plastic. Also reversed the hinges so the cabinet door opens more comfortably.
Actually, as I remember, I just turned the cabinet door up side down and relocated the closer. Can't see it right now so my questionable memory is sharing this.
