When starting forward in any rear wheel drive vehicle, the driveshaft moves on a slip joint splined shaft somewhere between the diff and trans. It has an inner splined shaft and an outer splined collar or yoke. Some have grease fittings, but most later models have to be taken apart and packed by hand. The grease escapes after use and needs replacing . Not an abnormal occurrence . I assume we are talking about your TV?
