My 2 cents worth - Many campgrounds do not allow pop ups, tents or any other type of enclosure on the site. Best as above mentioned, call the proposed campground, get a real answer from them yes or no. If you dont like the answer find another campground. If you can live with some yes some no, i say go for it. But, there is always (as also mentioned above) types of workout systems that virtually take up not much if any room inside and RV and can be used for workout. Still, it is up to to the person (RVer) and what they want.
