I have been a huge fan of shotguns, rifles and handguns since I was a young boy. Guess it has to do with the “cap” guns we all had as kids. Acquired and sold/traded off most throughout the years. Now, I am a Sig fan through and through these days. Both my wife and I have carry permits with her Sig being a p238 (380) and mine a p938 (9mm). For taking down bad guys that may happen into our house is the Sig 220(45). Mostly, what I like about both “carry” handguns is the ability to be “locked and cocked” with an external safety. I know a lot will disagree with this, “locked and cocked”, but the 1911 style has been with me for 50 years and am comfortable with it, which is the best feel for me.
