Utah has at least 2 National parks and 2 National Monuments. BUT it is HOT in southern Utah in the summer. How hot, you ask? I would say 105-110 is not unusual during June/July. If you can leave early get there in May.
Also, right across the border (literally) into AZ is Monument Valley where the Searchers and Stagecoach was filmed.
