The pressure regulars that we have are from RVs that we had in the 90s and early 2000s. We haven't used one in our current rig (2015 Montana 3402RL), and we've had pressure at 85 PSI for most of a year without any troubles.
As far as we know, many of the water pressure related problems were with older (lower PSI) plumbing.
