Another thing to check is the evaporator coil of the unit. I had not pulled the shroud off of our front A/C in a couple of years and we started to have water dripping in the bedroom. When I pulled the shroud and the foam blocks, I found the entire front of the evaporator unit covered with a layer of lint that had escaped the cheap foam filter inside. Once I carefully cleaned most of the lint off, the water dripping stopped and we get a lot more air flow now so it cools much better than it has for several years. This is a photo of the remaining lint which I will finish cleaning when I install a SoftStartRV on the A/C.
