Our shower enclosure is attached to the wall with small push-pin anchors that have a plastic head about 1/2 inch in dia. The plastic push pin is in the center. They're kinda like an anchor - you insert the entire pin in about a 1/4" hole then push on the pin and the plastic anchors inside flare out. You can get them in white or kind of an almond color. Lowes has them. They protrude out about 1/16th of an inch from the wall. They would fill your hole.
