Cummins is a public shares. Ford owns about 30%, but not a controlling interest. Ford is in a contract with navistar and cummins is in a contract with fiat Chrysler. The Cummins used to be put in the F650 and larger trucks along with Allison trans, but thoughs days are long gone. As for a cummins in a ford F450 or smaller, it probably will not happen anytime soon. As for ford owning them. Sorry its not true.
