It's a starting point.

You can search on all kinds of security terms and put together a very broad range of security management tools to keep safe. Try searching on the words "security Benchmarks" without the quotes. Of just "internet security" without the quotes. That one will get you a bunch of software that can be used. Personally I prefer Norton's Anti-virus, and that is what we had a NASA when I was working there so it can't be all that bad.

And don't forget to check out the FTC (ftc.gov) web site for reporting scams. Search for Rainbow Books, or visit the NIST web site. There are tons of readings on the subject. Know your source.
