G3 must have a weaker power supply than our pathway X2. I have two 25 ft cables and a coax connector. I usually use the 25-footer, but I have coupled both of them together when needed with no issue. If you measure the voltage at the end of the cable going into the satellite, you should have around 13 and 1/2 volts.
