I just hooked up my portable satellite last week to see how it would work. I disconnected the jumper you refer to , and it has no effect on antenna TV. I proceeded to run a cable from the top of the coax outlet to "satellite in", and "to TV" from the receiver to the bottom of the outlet. Turned TV to channel 3, shut off booster to antenna, and now have satellite on all three outlets.
