No can of worms. Seems like the choice of hitch is as subjective as which floorplan is best, or which TV is best. There are so many viable choices. I love the smooth, quiet, light-weight simplicity of the Andersen Hitch and it works great for me.

I don't have the puck system so I don't know what impact it has on the overall height of the hitch setting but there are a lot of sound solutions.

Seems like if the OP has a good hitch that he likes and works well for him then that would be the best solution if it can be set up satisfactorily.
