John,

Welcome to the forum. This problem happens to a lot of Montana owners and is usually corrected by an expansion joint. All newer models have an expansion joint below the bedroom slide.

When hooking and unhooking you will be able to see some movement. On my Monty the filon actually seems to give as I hook and unhook. So I will not need the fix.

In some cases it has been reported by forum members that sometimes the aluminum frame near the slide comes loose from the steel frame and has to be repaired. However no pictures have been posted.

Take good pictures of your problem and send them to Keystone and request assistance. In most cases they will either fix the problem or allow you a certain amount to have it fixed. Not sure what there doing at this time.
