Set lots of traps under stairs, in passthrough, under sink. If you look at where your sinks drain to, you should see big holes in the wall for vent pipe to roof as well as electric wires for kitchen. If you feel under the lower edges of cabinets above toe kick, you will probably feel holes. And before they crawl into your furnace ducts, best to remove the passthrough wall and put wire mesh over the furnace lines that dump heat into the tank area. I also had a opening beside the first step into the bedroom and the entry closet, so shine a flashlight into that area if your layout is similar to mine. Did have a pack rat or something chew a hole into my cable line as it laid on the ground in gallup a week ago. John
