We have not paid those rates but we don't travel in the RV when we go to New Orleans. We have a nice little family run hotel that we prefer to stay in that is in the heart of the French Quarter close to Jackson Square. The prices just prove my point of location ... Their standard rate is $80 a night but for events they charge more.
