I don't think he said it was connected to shore power. This is more of a question but believe it to be true, if the battery disconnect switch is operate doesn't it keep the converter from charging. Might be one more thing to check. If operated turn it back to the normal position where the key can't be removed. Plug the unit into shore power and let the converter charge up the battery. It will take a few hours if the battery charge is really low.
