I use Stanadyne every tank. My feeling is, if you need it on one tank you need it on every tank. The Stanadyne will bring the cetane up to 46 using 8 oz per 30 gallons. Then I add 8 oz of cetane to bring it up to 50. The fuel systems on these trucks cost $8000+. If this helps preserve the fuel system it is well worth what it cost. I see no difference in the truck, no difference in noise, fuel mileage, the way it runs, nothing.
