I could buy a used camper for less than that. I would have more room, be completely self-contained and protected from the weather. That price is ridiculous. I realize the cost in engineering and size, but let's get real. It's for camping! Did anyone notice that there's even a cubby hole to keep a Swiss Army knife OPEN in it's own compartment? That alone is probably several hundred dollars worth of engineering.
Wait a minute, I just heard recently in the news that Zurich, Switzerland is now the most expensive place to live. The citizens in Zurich, Switzerland must have bought a boatload of these $10,000 camping kits and drove the cost of living way up.
Them Swiss are getting way more clever than their German neighbors.
