Our first winter away we used the Premeium Mail Forwarding, worked great, but expensive. Since then we use the temporary change of address. We change our address effective a couple of days before we leave and change back to our regular address a couple days before we head home in the spring.
As Rondo mentioned don't forward to a family member, especially a junior. We went through that when junior moved out and did a change of address.
