Welcome to the MOC. Personally I would not build a roof over the rig. Just routinely inspect the roof for any damage. Pay particular attention to caulking, front cap, rear cap, vents, windows, etc. We fulltimed over six years, and now snowbird in Florida in the winter and enjoy living in our rig. Hope you will as well.
