09Montanaliving, can you better explain why you want to change out the toilet? I agree with most folks here it's a bad idea. If you're looking for an ADA type toilet, they make them for RVs. Along with what others have said, traveling with a residential toilet would require draining your toilet holding tank and shutting off the pump before pulling the rig down the road. Otherwise you risk flooding your rig. Your biggest problem (IMHO) is all the plumbing modifications you'll need to make to accommodate installing the unit. I learned this the hard way when I changed out our cheap plastic kitchen faucet with an American Standard I bought at HD. I had to modify the water line connections. If you're looking for more comfortable seating they make better/padded seats.
