Some days the kids get their bathes in the kitchen sink. But, they also get in the tub. Easier in the tub, cause of the deeper sides and splashing is not a problem there! HAHA.

Their coats are long, but, I don't think they are particularly thick. I shave their bellies so we don't have to deal with all that tangled stuff down there.

Not sure bout the new units on a difference in the size of the tub vs shower, but in the older units, there was a difference, seems about 4 to 5 inches. My girlfriend that has the shower because of her MS has a spot beside the shower that is that 4 to 5 inches, she uses it for storage of broom, etc. If there was a tub there, she would not have that little broom corner.
