Yes, what Scottz said. Boldt castle is totally amazing, especially the story behind it. We did not get to see Singer Castle but heard it was also not to be missed.
There are several campgrounds in the area. If you don't mind a bit of a drive the Association Island KOA is awesome. But it's about a 30 - 40 minute drive to Alexandria Bay, NY. There are several campgrounds much closer to AB also. This area is beautiful. I was amazed at the boat traffic, everything from kayaks to 800 foot ocean freighters.
