From your descriptions, it sounds like the wiring is wrong or the antenna which includes the power amp is dead. Since it's a 2018 you likely have no warrantee so get the dealer to loan you another antenna and just connect it temporarily to see if that works. If it does it's the old antenna if not it's the wiring. Good luck.
