When we had the Monty, I put a drop down for my "portable boat."
I used aluminum flat stock. I had a friend fabricator help me. It was just over 2 feet wide and 12 feet long. We built back stops and a flat stock hinged piece for the front opening. We cut holes in the underbelly and bolted the flat stock to the frame. I used rollers between the drop down flat stock with All-thread and pvc wrapped in some heavy tape. I think I used that new modern plumbers tape that will not come of unless cut.
Anyhow - just some ideas. The only diagram I had was what we thought of at the time.
