Here is an informative video for those who have and use generators and when they should be bonded and grounded. I have no idea whether OEM installed transfer switches switch the neutral or not. But it makes a difference in the bonding and grounding requirements. I am making the rash assumption that factory installed generators are wired properly based on the type transfer switch.
It applies to portable generators without transfer switches also.
