Sounds like a fun trip. Bryce will be a bit of a drive, but still can be done if planing it as a day trip. Be sure to hike down among the hoodoos. Truly amazing !
Page Arizona is not far from Kanab as you will go by it if you are going to take Rt 89 from GC to Kanab. The Glen Canyon Dam Is located near Page. Also Lake Powell that the dam creates. Red rock and blue water really striking.
Gouldings is the only place you will want to stay as it is right there in Monument Valley. Excellent choice! Try to take a tour on to the Native American land. They will pick you up right at the camp ground where you will check in. Something I will never forget.
