How Long?
From my 17 years of RVing and travel. One hard lesson was that even when you buy the best tires, the time sitting in one place will eventually cause the tire to fail while towng! So, set a standard on when you will replace tires--also keep mileage but don't expect that to mean much. My standard--no travel on tires over 4 years old. So far I have avoided blowouts while towing about 4000 miles a year.
