Bill, what route are you taking through Colorado? We towed our 13,980lb 3295RK the length of Colorado on I-70 from west to east, including well over 11,000 feet through Vail Pass. We first towed that with our '99 F350 V10 and it did a very nice job. You shouldn't have any problem.
We're thinking of going east to west through Colorado on US 40 in July but I'll be posting in another thread to get opinions on that route.
