Any grease has a life span of about five years. Synthetic has a higher temperature rating. Climate will also effect the grease. I'm in CA and I repack every 2 years which equates to about 5000 to 6000 miles.



Depending on the source of information the answer varies.


It is recommended that trailer wheel bearings should be repacked annually or at least every 12,000 miles. Even if your trailer is not in use, the grease breaks down from condensation in the bearings and causes corrosion to build.
