Well finally found the cause of our problems with the main slide. Seems a entire family of mice found a nice warm place in the belly insulation to set up house. Problem is they love the covering on all types of wires and sure enough they had a feast in the belly of our home on wheels!! Now the question is how do you keep then out? I've heard everything from moth balls to cat urine to steal wool. My kids tried "Fresh Cab Botanical Rodent Repellent" and it seems to work at their house, wondering if it will work the same in our unit. Any other ideas you might want to share would be appreciated! The dealer suggested they got in through the push arms on the main slide so stuffing steal wool around the push rods would work, but that means crawling under the unit each time we park or travel so the steal wool remains in the holes and doesn't scratch the rods. Any other ideas. Cannot use poison since it is not my property! HELP
