While I chose a light that is almost identical in looks to the marker lights, I only hooked it up as a turn signal. I must admit, I have a friend that is an electrician who thought of the disconnect because of having to mount on the slide. Much better than what I was thinking of.
As bsmeaton points out, it goes on with the brakes also because the plug has both brake and signal lights on the same line. No real need for that because they could have use the yellow wire for the barks since they did not consider it important to put a backup light on these rigs. That is an upcoming project to put a backup light on the trailer and a docking light on the TV. Anybody have and pics or ideas on how the best way to do this is?
