I agree with the rest of the folks here. You should have a 10 gallon HWH. And just so you don't feel like the Lone Ranger...... It took us a year to realize we had a dual fuel HWH! Finally found the switch on the tank flipped it and Ta Da we had electric power heating our water!

I can't think of anyone ever replacing their tank or having to install a larger one.
