I did a pretty through leak search including basement, furnace area and even under the shower. Any area I could peer at or touch to find a leak. I am happy report no leaks. Of course, I didn't find the check valve either, at least that I know of.
I have soaked and flushed the tank so many times that for the first time in 2 years the sesor reads Empty on the black tank!!
