In my opinion, the use of any type of surge protector or Electrical Management System is a no-brainer. There are many available, but it seem the majority of the forum members had settled in on the Progressive Industries EMS models, some are hard-wired in and some are portable. We us the hard-wired 50 amp model with the remote readout. Any you choose will be better than subjecting yourself to the potential catastrophic damage that can be caused by faulty pedestal current.
