Can you add antifreeze to water lines in your Montana 5th wheel by using an external water pump connected to the fresh water line rather than using the water pump in the trailer? In other words, our trailer is parked permanently, using city water. We only use the trailer water pump to winterize. This year, we had the same problem others have (pump runs, but does not draw antifreeze - probably due to the check valve issue). In haste, I bought a back up 115V water pump, which then made me think — why not winterize using that pump connected to city water inlet vs dealing with sticky check valves? Please comment..!! Would appreciate your thoughts.
