KOA in Gunnison, CO

Just got back from a long weekend delivering one of our sons to Western State College in Gunnison.

Stayed at the KOA, located at the western end of town. Very nice KOA!
Plusses:
all very nice grass, easy pull thrus, stable power, quiet, very few bugs, we were in one corner, which afforded us a HUGE mowed yard all to ourselves outside the front door! (Site #13) Nice folks too. Lots to do, both at the campground, and around Gunnison.
Minuses:
right by the airport, you have to put up with a half dozen flights a day (jet and/or prop). Mosquitoes (not bad really, considering the amount of rain we have had). Cool in the mornings! We use an excellent radiant heater, left it on all night. (Rather heat on their expense, not mine.)

We'll stay their again!
