No we don't full time but we do spend 4 months at La Posa South in Quartzsite during the winter. I find that the amount of solar and batteries works great for us. Watch satellite TV for 4 to 5 hours every night and run the electric toaster and coffee pot every morning. By 1 o'clock we are completely recharged. There are the occasional days where we have to run our Honda 2000i for a couple of hours in the evening if we have more than 2 days of no sun. that does not happen very often in the desert.

Do your research on the internet on what you need for power and do your own install. It is easy to do and you will know it is done right.
