I have been using the 5 lnb since last fall, have set it up 6 or 8 times and was no more difficult than the 3 lnb. The secret is, as has been said before, getting it level before you make your settings. We are currently in RGV and when we arrived last month I had a problem with a couple of the satelites 119 and 99b, could not pick up a signal from either. On the second day without changing a thing I was picking up a good signal from 119 but still nothing on 99b but I was getting all my channels including HD. I went on Direct TV tech forum and found out that they are changing a bunch of the channels and 99b is only spot beamed locals now. Everything is working fine, but who knows what they are doing with those satelites. You really dont even need a meter, but I use my old 30 dollar meter to get the compass setting.
