I'm going to buck the trend here. I removed the tube. Although several tout high praise for this invention, after trying it out, I came to the conclusion it was about as handy as having the mumps. The thing that baffled me the most was unless you install a cap on the hose end, you travel down the road after a dump stringing water for a few miles ... and no my shut off valves were not leaking ... just residual fluid. I installed a door in the lower aluminum panel like my old 2980RL had and fabbed a basket of sorts between the frame and outer panel. I just dump the old fashioned way and coil it back in the compartment I made.
