I use The Club. When our truck was broken into in San Diego, I asked the copper who took my report if a Lo-Jack system would work. He said absolutely! Except in the border areas with Mexico - California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. I asked why. His response was the Lo-Jack works great - they can see the signals from Tijauna - they just can't go get the vehicles.
Oh, and Ozz? By my signature, you can see I have a GMC...with Onstar.
