On my trip I only used my Kipor 2000 once but I did need it. We sayed overnight at a Walmart in Hinton Alberta and it was snowing lightly and about 24 F outside so the furnace was running a lot.
We fired up the Kipor and ran it for about 8 hours. We had all the power we needed for watching TV and we had lights on all over . The rest of the time we always had power but the little Kipor was nice to have along as a back up.
