Great question! We tried this a few years ago and it was a great success. We gather at random between 8-9 at the pavilion. We 'sell' a card from a regular deck of cards and you make a random draw. At the end of the rally, the night of while elephant exchange, we announce the winner which is the best poker hand. We divide the proceeds, 1/2 to the winners, 1/2 to the club to offset our rally costs.
Some go for a morning walk, others don't. It was a nice way to get each day off to a good start with a bit of coffee, and some socializing!
