Our builder got us a Green Mountain Daniel Boone for a housewarming gift. It worked so well that we bought a GMG Davey Crockett for our Montana. It has WiFi and temp probe. If you shop at Costco, they have a triple blend cherry, maple and apple Traeger pellet that we use. I think they all do the same job, so brand isn’t an issue. I like a lot of the Traeger recipes. Especially, their pot roast recipe. We do it with a few changes. Sweet potatoes, onions, a whole Costco package of portobello mushrooms, half a bottle of sherry. Smokers are a great addition to a camping trip. We like that it fits sideways on our slide tray. Bon apetite.
