I think both norcold and dometic use the same design. The tray on the inside back wall have a plastic drain tube that is part of the tray. This pushes into tube which is seen on the outside back wall of the RV fridge. Pulling the RV fridge gives you no advantage, it weighs more than you can lift. If the tray inside the fridge has water in it that needs to drain, it will flow out the port on the outside back of the fridge.
