I have been considering a reel as well but I dont yet see the space advantage vs blocking part of a door with the reel. Currently we just use the cord and hose bungees for everything that needs to be coiled. They work great.

I which there was a bumper mount and seal storage avaliable to put on the back adjacent to the plug. I may need to make one.
