I too use the quick disconnect, it doesn't leak and you are assured of the same connection each time. It works great with the "Y" valve that I have also. Also have it on the flush fitting on the black tank. All together 3 quick disconnects from the y tot he trailer and one screw on at the park supply line. If I can remember to do it, I'm going to put one on the end of the outside show line on the new 3400.
